Looking for SHEQ software that keeps incidents, permits, toolbox talks and safety statistics in one place?

The Inspecable Safety Hub gives each kind of safety record its own tab, and works out injury rates such as LTIFR and TRIFR from the hours your sites enter.

SHEQ Software Tour: Incidents, Toolbox Talks, Permits, LTIFR and More | Inspecable

This web dashboard tour goes tab by tab: the dashboard figures (days since the last incident, open incidents, active permits, observations and open corrective actions), the incident register, findings from every source, safety observations, toolbox talks with attendance, permits and the CAPA register, safety performance with leading and lagging indicators and monthly site reports, the management system, occupational hygiene exposure monitoring, and emergency drills and health programmes. Injury rates stay blank until hours worked are entered. Sections can be switched on or off for your organisation, so you may see fewer tabs. Recorded in a live demonstration organisation.

    Introduction

This is a tour of the Safety Hub on the Inspecable web dashboard. We'll go through it tab by tab, so you know where each kind of safety record lives and what each screen holds.

    The dashboard

Open Safety from the sidebar, under Safety and Compliance. The Safety Hub is for administrators and managers. The dashboard tab leads with the figures: days since the last incident, open incidents, active permits, observations good and bad, and open corrective actions. Below the figures are the latest incidents and observations. Each part of safety has its own tab along the top. Sections can be switched on or off for your organisation, so you may see fewer tabs than this.

    Incidents and findings

Incidents lists every incident and near miss, with its number, type, severity, stage and date. Filter by stage, export the register to Excel or PDF, and use Report to record a new one. Running an incident through its stages has its own video. Findings is one register for findings from every source: inspections, audits, observations and incidents. The figures show priority one findings and what's open. Search and filter by source, priority, type and status, or record a finding by hand.

    Observations and toolbox talks

Observations records what people see on the floor, good or bad, by category: PPE, housekeeping, behaviour, equipment and more. Field teams log them on the phone, even with no signal. Each row has an Escalate button when something needs to move up. Toolbox Talks records each talk or safety meeting: the topic, type, duration, who ran it and who attended. Whole groups can be added to the roster, each person marked present, and photos added as evidence.

    Permits and CAPA

Permits holds your permits to work, with their signatories and isolations. The CAPA tab is the action register: every corrective and preventive action, from every source, in one list. Both have their own videos.

    Performance and monthly reports

Performance is the safety dashboard: what needs you, leading and lagging indicators, and injury rates such as LTIFR and TRIFR. Rates come from the hours your sites enter each week, so they stay blank until hours are in. Monthly reports holds each site's monthly report.

    Management System

Management System holds the system that governs the work: objectives, accountability and legal appointments, committees, the legal register, conformance to standards, critical controls, and the audit programme. The legal register has its own video.

    Exposure

Exposure records occupational hygiene readings, such as dust, noise or gas, against an exposure limit. A reading over the limit is flagged, and you can raise a finding from it. You type each limit in; there's no built-in limit library.

    Health and emergency

Health and Emergency has two parts. Emergency Drills records fire, evacuation, spill and medical drills, with whether the muster point was reached and any issues. Health Programmes is a simple list of programmes, such as hearing conservation. It isn't linked to worker medicals.

    Recap

So: the dashboard gives you the figures and the latest reports. Each kind of record has its own tab. And Performance, the management system, exposure and health sit alongside them, in one place. Next, see how to run an incident from the first report to close-out. Every tutorial is on our website, linked on screen now.
