Your numbers, our prices

Inspection ROI calculator: what Inspecable costs and saves, in rand

Seven numbers about your operation. The cost comes from the pricing page; the saving comes from the time you expect paperwork to stop taking. An estimate, not a quote.

Your team and assets (sets the cost)

Your inspections today (sets the saving)

Change the saving assumptions (10% of inspection time, 50% of admin time)

Going digital does not make walking an asset quicker, so the default assumes only 10% of inspection time goes: the notes, the photo matching, the re-typing. Transcribing and compiling is work that disappears, but reviewing results and chasing fixes stays, so the default assumes half of the admin time. Use your own figures if you have them.

    Inspecable, per month

    R5 000

5 field users at R150, 1 admin at R250, 50 assets at R80. Year one adds R15 000 onboarding, once.

    Time saved, per year

    R133 000

380 hours at R350 an hour, on your assumptions above.

    Pays back in

    2.5 months

Then R73 000 a year net, after the subscription.

Prices exclude VAT and assume monthly billing; annual billing saves 10%. AI credits are usage-based and not included.

    01How it is calculated

Every number traces back to our prices or your inputs

    Cost

    • Per month = inspectors × R150 + admins × R250 + assets × the asset rate
    • Asset rate: R80 up to 200 assets, R75 above 200, R70 above 500, on every asset
    • Year one = 12 months + R15 000 onboarding

    Saving

    • Inspection hours a month = inspections × minutes ÷ 60
    • Admin hours a month = weekly hours × 4.33
    • Hours saved a year = 12 × (inspection hours × share saved + admin hours × share saved)
    • Rand saved = hours saved × cost of an hour

    Payback

    • Monthly net saving = rand saved ÷ 12 − monthly cost
    • Payback = onboarding fee ÷ monthly net saving
    • If the monthly net saving is zero or less, it does not pay back at these inputs

    About this calculator

    How is the saving calculated?

It is arithmetic on your own numbers. Monthly inspection hours (inspections × minutes ÷ 60) are multiplied by the share of inspection time you expect to save, and weekly admin hours × 4.33 by the share of admin time you expect to save. The two shares start cautious (10% and 50%) and are yours to change. They are not measured Inspecable results.

Where does the Inspecable cost come from?

The pricing page: R150 per field user and R250 per admin per month, plus assets at R80 each per month (R75 above 200 assets, R70 above 500). Year one adds the once-off R15 000 onboarding fee. Prices exclude VAT and assume monthly billing; AI credits are usage-based and not included.

What does "pays back in" mean?

The months it takes for the monthly saving left over after the subscription to cover the once-off onboarding fee. If the saving does not cover the subscription at all, the page says so rather than showing a number.
