Intro
This final video is about the app your people carry: the Inspecable field app for Android. It is the same product as the portal, built for a phone and for places without signal.
Home
Home opens with a welcome line, the weather safety card for your site, today's work and the headcount. The round plus button scans a QR code, raises an issue or opens Safety. The tabs along the bottom are Home, Inspections, Issues, Safety and More, and they change with your edition.
Inspections
Inspections lists everything assigned to you, searchable and filterable by asset. Each card shows the status: completed, started or draft, and a Pending Sync badge marks a record that has not reached the server yet.
Start an inspection
New Inspection opens the gallery of templates. Search, then tap Start. Each template type opens the runner that suits it: a quick pass-fail list, a multi-page form, or a visual inspection over a drawing. Mandatory items are starred, and a failed item can raise an issue on the spot.
Completed inspection and sign-off
Every runner ends in a three-step sign-off: the summary, the legal consent, and your signature. Online, the PDF is produced on the server with every photo and signature. Offline, you get a clearly marked preview, and the final PDF is generated when the inspection syncs.
Report an issue
Report an issue from the plus button, from the Issues list or straight from an inspection step: pick the asset, give it a title and a description, set the severity and add photos. It saves on the phone and syncs when you have signal.
Safety
Safety holds the actions people use on the ground: report an incident, record a positive or negative observation, and the rest of the safety toolkit. All of them save offline with their photos and videos, and the location is attached automatically.
Shifts and the fitness gate
Start shift clocks you in, after any shift-start checklist your organisation requires. The fitness gate checks medical fitness, certifications and training, and blocks the clock-in when something is missing or expired. Breaks and the end of the shift are recorded the same way.
More and working offline
More holds your profile and every feature your role allows: assets and QR scanning, documents, training, views and who is on site. With signal, the app keeps a working set of your assets, templates, tasks and recent records for up to seven days, so the day's work carries on when the signal does not.
