How do I build an inspection checklist template and get it signed off?

Inspections end to end in Inspecable: the inspections overview, Inspection Config with every template, choosing a template type (quick list, pass-fail checklist with photo evidence, visual inspection over a drawing, or a multi-page form), the form builder, assigning inspections to people and assets with a due date and recurrence, and reading a completed inspection with its photos and signatures.

    Intro

Inspections are the heart of Inspecable. This video shows how templates are built, how they are assigned, and what a completed inspection gives you back.

    Inspections overview

The Inspections page counts everything: all inspections, planned, completed and overdue. Click a card to filter the list, search by inspection, asset or inspector, and open any row to see its results. Upload historic brings paper inspections in, and Generate insight asks SpecBot for a summary.

    Inspection Config

Inspection Config lists every template with its type, its step count and who it is assigned to. The toggle marks a template inspectable any time by field users. Specpod Import turns an existing document into a template, and Merge Flows combines two templates into one.

    New inspection types

Create New Inspection asks for the type: a quick list, a pass-fail checklist with photo evidence, a visual inspection over a drawing, or a form builder with twenty-seven field types and conditional logic.

    Form builder

In the builder you name the template, choose the type, and add sections and steps. Each step can be mandatory, carry reference photos, and raise an issue automatically when it fails. The builder saves as you go.

    Assign inspections

Assign picks the people, the assets, a due date and a recurrence. Assignees are notified, the inspection appears on their phone, and overdue ones surface on the dashboard and in Escalations.

    Completed inspection

A completed inspection shows the asset, the inspector, the times, a summary of comply and non-comply steps, and every answer with its comment and media. Records raised from steps are linked. Download the signed PDF, or generate a standards report grounded in your knowledge base.

    Standards Reports

Standard Reports collects those AI-drafted compliance reports, each with its source inspection, status and alignment posture. They are advisory: a competent person reviews them before they are shared.

    Wrap-up

That's inspections. Next, from finding to fix: issues, escalations and corrective actions.
