How do I track corrective actions from inspections to closure?

An inspection is not the outcome, it is the beginning of the workflow. This tour follows a finding in Inspecable from the issue raised against an asset, through the escalation chain you define, to the corrective and preventive action register.

    Intro

A finding is only useful if somebody fixes it. This video follows a defect from the moment it is raised, through escalation, to a verified corrective action.

    Issues register

Issues are defects raised against assets. The bands at the top put every issue in exactly one status: open with no owner, in progress, or resolved. The cuts below show critical issues and repeat occurrences, where the same problem came back and the previous fix is not holding.

    Report an issue

Report Issue asks for the asset, a title, a description, the severity and photos. Most issues are not typed in here, though: failed inspection steps, out-of-range readings and failed visual points raise them automatically, and the field app reports them offline.

    Issue detail and escalation card

An issue carries its asset, its severity and status, its media and comments, and an escalation card that shows which level it is at and how long remains before it climbs. From here you assign it, create a work order or a task, resolve it with evidence, or reopen it.

    Escalations register

Escalations is the register of everything currently climbing a chain: findings, issues, actions, inspections and sign-offs, with who holds each one, how long it has waited, and how many reminders have gone out.

    Escalation policy

The escalation policy is the chain itself. Level one is always the record's own assignee; each level above says who gets chased next and after how long. You can give findings, actions, inspections and risks their own chains, or keep one shared chain.

    CAPA register

The action register, under the Safety hub, holds every corrective, preventive, follow-up and improvement action in one place, with recurring causes charted across them. Closing an action needs evidence and a verifier's sign-off; the closure gate will not let it through without them.

    Wrap-up

That's the loop from finding to fix. Next, work orders and maintenance.
