Introduction
In the next two minutes you will see how the Inspecable field app sets up your day: what Home tells you, the plus button, My Day, the tabs along the bottom, and your notifications.
Home
Every shift starts on Home. The weather card leads with a verdict for where you are standing: safe to work, take care, or hazardous, with the reasons under it. Below it, start your shift, and see who is on site. Then come your inspections, jobs and work orders.
The plus button
The round plus button at the bottom right is the quick way in. Scan QR Code finds an asset from its label. New Issue reports a problem. Safety opens the safety reports. Tap the cross to close it. Here it is in use. Tap plus, then Safety, and you are straight in the safety hub, ready to report an incident, an observation or a toolbox talk.
My Day
At the bottom of Home is My Day: everything due today, numbered in order, with the time where there is one. Work with no set time sits under Anytime today. Today there are two vehicle pre-trip checks. Tap Start to begin one.
The tabs
The tabs along the bottom change with your plan. On Safety and Compliance you will see Inspections, Issues and Safety. On the Operations plan, as here, you will see Inspections, Jobs and Work Orders. Everything else is under More, as tiles.
Notifications
Notifications are in the menu at the top. They list what needs you, such as a new inspection assigned to you. Filter by unread, tasks, inspections, issues or work orders, and tap one to open it. Notifications need signal.
Recap
So: Home gives you the weather verdict, your shift and your open work. The plus button gets you to a scan, a new issue or Safety.
