How to Record Toolbox Talk Attendance and Drill Signatures on Your Phone | Inspecable
This tutorial records a toolbox talk on trip hazards from hoses and cables (title and topic, duration, online or in-person delivery, attendance by department or one person at a time, present or absent, and the key points), then attaches evidence once it is saved with signal. Toolbox talk attendees do not sign. For a drill set up on the web, it adds the people who took part and has each sign on the phone; signing needs signal, and offline the attendance still saves and each person is asked to sign by email later. Introduction
In this video you will record a toolbox talk from your phone, with who attended and what was covered, and see how drill attendance is taken and signed on the spot.
Record a toolbox talk
Open Safety and tap Toolbox Talk. Give it a title and the topic. Today's talk follows a near miss in the workshop: trip hazards from hoses and cables left on walkways. Set how long it took, and how it was delivered: online, or in person. In person asks where it was held.
Who attended
Next, who attended. Add a whole department with Add by group, or add people one at a time. Each person is marked present, and you can switch anyone to absent. Toolbox talk attendees do not sign. Then note the key points you covered.
Save it
Tap Record. With signal, the talk saves and offers to attach evidence, such as a photo of the attendance sheet. With no signal it saves on the phone, and you can add evidence later.
Drill attendance
Drills are set up on the web. On the day, tap Drill Attendance, pick the drill, and add the people who took part. Each attendee can then sign on the phone, one after the other. Signing needs signal. With no signal, the attendance still saves, and each person is asked to sign by email once you are back in coverage. Then tap Record Attendance.

So: a toolbox talk records the topic, how it was delivered, who attended and the key points, with no signatures. Evidence can be attached once it is saved with signal.
