Job Cards, Work Order Sign-Off and Fitness-for-Duty Clock-In | Inspecable (Operations Plan)
This tutorial opens a work order, adds a comment and signs it off (work done with photos, parts used, customer sign-off), opens a field service job with its checklist, parts, notes, media and time, and clocks in, where the fitness check passes, warns or blocks and a supervisor can override. Who's on site lists everyone clocked in, with their zone. Work orders and their sign-off save with no signal and sync while the app is open. Introduction
On the Operations plan, the Inspecable field app also carries your maintenance and service work. In this video you will open a work order and its sign-off, open a job, and see how clocking in and the fitness check work.
Work orders
Work Orders lists your organisation's maintenance work, with a search, a status filter and a sort. Search for the one you want. Here it is the sliding door lock on Service Van 4. Tap it to open it. The work order shows the asset, what needs doing, the dates and the estimated cost. Add a comment to keep everyone up to date. Comments save on the phone with no signal and go up when you are back in coverage.
Sign off a work order
When the work is done, tap Sign Off and Complete. The sign-off takes you through what was done, with photos, the parts you used, and the customer's name and signature. It keeps a draft, so here it opens where the last person left off. All of it works offline.
Jobs
Jobs lists the field service jobs assigned to you. A job shows the customer, the site and the time, with a button to navigate there. Start Job when you arrive. The tabs hold the checklist, parts, notes, media and time. Complete Job takes the customer's signature and yours.
Clock in and the fitness check
Shifts, under More, is where you clock in and out. Before you clock in, the fitness check looks at your medical fitness, your certificates and licences, and your required training. It passes, warns, or blocks, and a supervisor can override. Here it warns: there is no medical fitness record on file. Who's on site lists everyone clocked in, with their zone and how long they have been there, ready for a muster. Nobody is clocked in at the moment, so the list is empty.
