    Inspecable vs InspectAll

InspectAll is an Atlanta company, trading since 2011, whose mobile inspection software is built for crane service firms, EHS teams, utilities and manufacturers, with its team and data in the United States. A South African safety or utilities manager comparing it with Inspecable is usually weighing a long-established, general-purpose inspection app against local compliance records and enforced close-out. This page compares the two from InspectAll’s own pages and help docs, read on 9 October 2026.

    01Credit where it is due

Where InspectAll may be the better fit

    iPhone and iPad

InspectAll has a native iOS app on the App Store as well as Android and a web app. Inspecable is Android and web only, so a crew on iPhones or iPads may be better served by InspectAll.

    Recurring schedules and reminders

A folder Series schedules recurring inspections at intervals, schedules go to a person or a whole team, and users can get daily, weekly or monthly schedule emails. Inspecable repeats an assignment at a set frequency to one named person, with no team schedules and no schedule emails.

An open API and Zapier, and a client portal

API access is free to clients with a public developer reference, Zapier connects to hundreds of apps, and a paid client portal suits service firms inspecting for many customers. Inspecable offers its API on request.

    02The difference

    Where Inspecable is different

What happens after a failed item

A failed step raises a tracked issue with a due date on the spot, offline, and closure is refused without a method, evidence and a signature. InspectAll’s docs describe the technician assigning a priority by hand and resolving it with a tick.

One register for safety, not only inspections

Incidents, near misses, observations and toolbox talks are reported offline on Android and feed the same corrective-action register as inspection findings, with 5-Whys and fishbone analysis. InspectAll’s pages do not describe an incident module.

South African compliance records and rand pricing

A legal register seeded with MHSA obligations or an OHS Act pack, clause-level conformance for ISO 45001 and SANS 3000-1, and billing in rand from Johannesburg. InspectAll names OSHA, ASME and NFPA, and keeps its team and data in the US.

    04Questions

    Asked before choosing

Yes, by its own pages: the mobile apps run inspections with no internet. Its help docs add that you should sync before starting, that the last device to sync wins when two people edit the same form, and that work lost between syncs cannot be recovered. Inspecable also runs inspections offline on Android.

InspectAll publishes no price list; its docs describe billing per user licence, monthly, and a client portal add-on from $25 a month for 10 portal licences, at the time of writing. Inspecable is R150 per field user and R250 per admin per month in rand. Both offer a 14-day trial without a card.

For an iPhone crew, or a service firm inspecting cranes for many clients, InspectAll has the closer fit. For a site that must hold MHSA or OHS Act records, report incidents offline and close every finding with evidence, Inspecable is built for that, with support and billing from Johannesburg.
