Safety & Compliance edition, every customer

The inspection is not the outcome. The closed-out action is.

Corrective action software for South African heavy industry. One register fed from inspections, incidents, near misses, observations, audits and sign-offs. Every action has an owner and a due date, and it cannot close without a method, evidence and a signature.

Inspecable verify-and-close dialog refusing to close a corrective action until evidence, a signature and a verification method are recorded
    01How it works

    Three things the product enforces

    Raised where the finding is

A failed inspection item raises a tracked issue with a severity-based due date on the spot, offline on Android. Incidents, near misses, observations and audit findings feed the same register.

    Closure refused without evidence

An action cannot close without a method, evidence and a signature; the database enforces it. The closer cannot be the assignee, and a signed effectiveness review follows; an ineffective result opens a child action.

Overdue items move up the chain

Set your own escalation levels and SLA hours and overdue issues, findings and actions escalate on a 15-minute sweep. Finding-ageing and action-lifecycle reports export to XLSX and PDF.

What it does not do yet

A failed item gets a due date, not an owner: a manager assigns the owner on the web. Escalation runs only once you have set the rules; nothing is seeded, and nobody is paged.

    03Questions

    Asked before buying

One list of every finding that needs fixing, whatever raised it, with a reference, the source, the root cause, the action, one owner, one due date and the evidence that closed it. It is the record an ISO 45001 auditor or an inspector reads to see whether findings are actually fixed.

No. Closure needs a verification method, evidence (an attachment or a linked work order, course or document) and a signature, and the person closing it cannot be the person assigned to it. The rule lives in the database, so no screen can bypass it.

An issue is what a failed inspection item raises on the spot: the finding, a severity and a due date. A corrective action is the owned, evidenced fix in the register. A manager turns the issue into an action by assigning the owner.
