The pre-start on the operator's phone, with no signal, and a defect that cannot be ignored
A pre-start and pre-use inspection app for excavators, haul trucks, loaders, forklifts, LDVs and plant on South African mines, construction sites and fleets. The operator runs your own checklist on an Android phone at the machine, offline, with a photo per item and a signature; a failed item raises an issue with a due date on the spot, and every machine keeps its own history.

Three things the product enforces
Your pre-start, not a generic one
Import the paper pre-start from Excel, a PDF or a photo of the form and AI turns it into a digital checklist you review before it goes live. Template logic can require a photo before an item passes or fail a critical item outright, and it runs offline on the phone.
A failed item is raised at the machine
Fail the brakes or the reverse alarm and the app raises a tracked issue with a due date there and then, offline, with the photo attached. A manager assigns the owner on the web, and the corrective action cannot close without a method, evidence and a signature.
Every machine keeps its own record
Scan the QR label on the machine to open it or start its inspection. Each pre-start lands on that asset's timeline with a signed PDF and a hash-chained history you can verify, and a date range of inspections exports as one ZIP for an audit.
What it does not do yet
Pre-starts do not create themselves each shift: assign the checklist to operators with a due date and it appears on their My Day list. The QR lookup needs a connection, a work order from a failed item is on the Operations plan, and the app is Android and web only, with no iPhone app.
