A permit that cannot go active until every signatory has signed
Permit to work software for South African mines and process plants. Define your own permit types, route the signatories, record every isolation and have a second person verify it. The permit cannot start with a signature missing and cannot close while a lock is on.
Three things the product enforces
Signatories, enforced
Permit types you define, with seven seeded to start. Each nominated signatory is emailed; only that person can sign their slot, and the database refuses the permit until every slot is signed.
Isolations verified by a second person
Every isolation point is recorded with its lock. The person who applied the lock cannot verify it; a second person does, and the permit cannot go active until each point is verified.
Cannot close with a lock on
Hand-back needs every lock removed and recorded. The permit prints to PDF with its signatories and isolations, so the record is the same one the inspector sees.
What it does not do yet
Permits are issued and signed on the web dashboard; there is no permit on the Android app yet. The pre-task check (gas test, barricading, PPE) runs on the phone as a checklist, offline.
